If you receive the error message “You need permission to perform this action” when you try to delete files from the VAULT/M50’s internal hard drive, it indicates that the permissions to the files are inherited from the source folder.
This sometimes occurs when you move files instead of copy files to the VAULT/M50.
To reassign file permission to VAULT/M50, perform the following steps:
- Restart VAULT/M50 by selecting Help > Diagnostics > Reboot in the left Navigation Drawer of the BluOS Controller App.
- Rebuild Index.
