As a CD ripper, the Bluesound VAULT or NAD M50.2 should eject the disk automatically after the Rip/Encode process is finished. There are two ways to eject your disk before the Rip/Encode process is complete.
Software Eject:
With your Bluesound VAULT or NAD M50.2 selected in your BluOS App, select Settings, Music Library, Ripping. There you will be provided with the option to Eject CD.
Hardware Eject:
BluOS automatically ejects disks when set into Upgrade mode.
To place the Bluesound VAULT 2 in Upgrade mode:
- Disconnect the VAULT power cord from the wall.
- Wait 5 seconds and reconnect the power cord.
- As soon as the VAULT's LED turns red, press the Play/Pause button for 5 seconds
- Once the LED has turned green and release button.
- The CD should Eject momentarily.
- Follow the on screen prompts in the BluOS App to run an upgrade and return the VAULT to service - if no upgrade is required, no harm will come to the player by running the upgrade.
To place the NAD M50.2 in Upgrade mode:
- Turn off the NAD M50.2 using the back panel power button.
- Wait 5 seconds and then turn the power back on.
- As soon as the NAD logo frame status indicator turns red, press the top Standby button for 5 seconds
- Once the LED has turned green and release button
- The CD should Eject momentarily.
- Follow the on screen prompts in the BluOS App to run an upgrade and return the NAD M50.2 to service - if no upgrade is required, no harm will come to the player by running the upgrade.
