To confirm if the BluOS player is connected to the network using a wireless or ethernet connection, perform the following steps:
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer and select the player to be verified.
- In the left Navigation Drawer, select Help > Diagnostics. The following results indicate the network connectivity:
For wireless connections – The color-coded Signal Strength indicator, Network name, and dBm reading are displayed along with the IP Address of the network.
For Ethernet connections – Only the IP Address of the network is displayed.
Notes:
- When an Ethernet connection is available, the player connects to the network using the wired connection by default.
- BluOS players cannot connect using both wired and wireless connections simultaneously.
