BluOS Controller app 4.x.x
Most BluOS Players have the ability to connect external Input sources such as a Phone Pre-amp, Television, or CD Player. You can rename these Input connections (sources) in the BluOS Controller app for easy reference.
To rename the externally connected Input Sources in BluOS, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Rename Connected Input Source
- Launch the BluOS Controller app, navigate to the Players tab
, and select the required Player with an external Input connection.
- Tap the Home tab
> Settings button
> Player > Customize sources.
- Select the required external Input connection to rename.
Note: Bluetooth cannot be renamed.-
Name – Customize the default Name to a friendlier option like Turntable or My TV to have it appear in the Music tab
, under the Inputs section.

- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer.
- Select the required Player with an external Input connection.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings > Player > Customize sources.
- Select the required external Input connection to rename.

Most BluOS Players have the ability to listen to external equipment such as a Phone Pre-amp, Television or CD Player. You can now label your external gear in the BluOS App for easy reference.
With your desired Player selected in the Player Selection Drawer, in the Navigation Drawer, press Settings, Player, Customize Sources.
Select the desired input from available connections.
Name: Change the default Name to something more friendly such as Turntable or My TV to display in The Navigation Drawer.
Icon: Choose from 20 different icons to display in The Navigation Drawer.
Hide Icon: If the input is not used, you may hide the icon from displaying in the App all together by setting Hide Icon to Yes.
Digital sources will also include the ability to Auto-Sense and switch to that source as soon as signal is detected from a TV, CD Player or other digital audio input device. Turning on your TV or playing a CD will interrupt any existing audio and play from this source.
To enable Auto Sense Optical, set the Auto Sense toggle to On.
