BluOS Controller app 4.x.x
When you connect an MQA-certified CD player or any other MQA-certified device to the Digital (Optical/Coaxial) Input of your BluOS player, you have the option to activate MQA Pass-through. This allows the BluOS player to function as the MQA decoder or renderer.
Enable MQA Pass-through
To enable MQA Pass-through., perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Enable MQA Pass-through
- Launch the BluOS Controller App; navigate to the Players tab
and select the required BluOS Player.
- Navigate to the Home tab
and select the Settings button
.
- Select Player > Customize sources and choose the Digital (Optical/Coaxial) Input corresponding to the connection of your MQA-certified device.
- Toggle to enable MQA Pass-through; to have the BluOS Player process the MQA input content.
Windows/macOS - Enable MQA Pass-through
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer.
- Select the required Player.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings > Player > Customize sources and choose the Digital (Optical/Coaxial) Input corresponding to the connection of your MQA-certified device.
- Toggle to enable MQA Pass-through; to have the BluOS Player process the MQA input content.
Notes:
- MQA Pass-through is only available on Optical or Coaxial Inputs.
- To enable MQA Pass-through, you should disable A/V mode.

BluOS Controller app 3.x.x
When connecting an MQA certified CD player or another MQA certified device to the digital inputs of your BluOS player, you can enable MQA Pass-through to have the BluOS player act as the MQA decoder or renderer.
To enable MQA Pass-through, open the BluOS app and go to Settings > Player > Customize Sources and select the input that you have this MQA device connected to. From here you will then see an option to enable MQA Pass-through to have your BluOS player process your MQA content.
Notes:
- MQA Pass-through is only available on Optical or Coaxial inputs.
- To enable MQA Pass-through, you should disable A/V mode.
