BluOS is proud to be the first multi-room ecosystem to support MQA.
What is MQA?
Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) is a revolutionary end-to-end technology that captures and delivers master-quality audio in a file that is small enough to stream or download. What’s more? MQA is backward compatible, so it will play on any device, and as it is fully authenticated, the listener can be sure that they are listening to tracks of the same quality in which they were recorded and originally approved in the studio. The days of sacrificing quality for convenience are over!
BluOS includes a powerful decoder and audio renderer for the ‘Master Quality Authenticated’ system. This ensures that MQA-encoded audio files and streams sound exactly like the source.
In the BluOS Controller App, when the Player is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, the track is denoted with an MQA logo indicator - with a green or blue dot - to indicate that the track is an MQA Studio file which is either approved in the studio by the artist/producer or it is verified by the copyright owner.
