Most BluOS Players have the ability to connect external Input sources such as a Phone Pre-amp, Television, or CD Player. You can rename these Input connections (sources) in the BluOS Controller app for easy reference.
To rename the externally connected Input Sources in BluOS, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Rename Connected Input Source
- Launch the BluOS Controller app, navigate to the Players tab , and select the required Player with an external Input connection.
- Tap the Home tab > Settings button > Player > Customize sources.
- Select the required external Input connection to rename.
Note: Bluetooth cannot be renamed.- Name – Customize the default Name to a friendlier option like Turntable or My TV to have it appear in the Music tab , under the Inputs section.
- You can also modify the following settings of the Input Source:
- Icon – Choose from 20 different icons to display in the Music tab , under the Inputs section.
- Hide Source – If the Input is unused, you can hide it from the BluOS Controller app by enabling Hide Source.
Windows/macOS - Rename Connected Input Source
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer.
- Select the required Player with an external Input connection.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings > Player > Customize sources.
- Select the required external Input connection to rename.
