By grouping the Players in the BluOS Controller App, you can have multiple players play the same content simultaneously throughout your home. This option is a great feature for filling multiple rooms with the same music.
To create a group in BluOS, perform the following steps:
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer and select the required Player (this acts as the primary Player in the group).
The primary Player's music service or source is distributed to other players in the group.
Note: The Bluesound NODE (N130) / NODE X with USB Audio OUT source must be the primary Player in the group to prevent synchronization issues. - Select the "+" icon next to the other players in the Player Drawer to group with the primary Player.
The grouped Players stream the same music from the primary Player.
Grouped Players have an individual volume slider for each Player and a Master volume slider for the entire group. Use the Master volume slider to adjust the volume of all the grouped players simultaneously.
Remove Player from a Group
To remove any single Player from the group, select the context menu of the required Player and select Remove.
To disband the entire group, select the X icon.
Notes:
- Only external inputs connected to the primary Player will be available to the rest of the group
- NAD devices using the BluOS MDC are unable to share their inputs with other BluOS devices due to hardware limitations
