By creating a fixed group with your BluOS Players, you can have your players work together to provide a specific listening experience different from the standard grouping in the BluOS Controller App. After creating a fixed group, these players appear as a single player in your BluOS Controller App's Player Drawer. You can create 3 different types of fixed groups in the BluOS Controller App.
Stereo Pair
Adding two players to a stereo pair configures each player to handle a single channel output (left or right), allowing them to play together in stereo. Stereo Pair is useful when you place two speakers (PULSE 2i) on opposite sides of the same room.

Multi-Player Group
A Multi-Player group acts similar to standard grouping in the BluOS Controller App. The main advantage of a Multi-Player group is to group multiple players that should function together and not independently. Multi-Player Group appears as a single player in the Player Drawer of the BluOS Controller App.
Note: The Bluesound NODE (N130) / NODE X with USB Audio OUT source must be the first player selected in the group to prevent synchronization issues.

Notes
- You cannot add a stereo-paired group to a second Fixed Group.
- A Home Theater Group requires a PULSE SOUNDBAR (all models), POWERNODE 2i (with HDMI), or POWERNODE (N330) as the front channels connected to the TV.
- A Home Theater Group requires a POWERNODE (any generation) or two PULSE FLEX (any generation), or two PULSE M as the rear channels.
- Only a Home Theater Group can output Dolby content to the rear speakers. For more information, refer to our Help Center article.
- When using POWERNODE models as a rear channel setup, connect the LEFT SPEAKER (+/-) terminal to the room’s left side speaker and vice versa.
- Players cannot be added or removed from a Fixed Group. To add or remove players, you should delete and recreate a new Fixed Group.
