Select the Now Playing Control bar to launch the Now Playing Screen.
Below is a description of the various functions on the Now Playing screen.
Play Queue tab
This tab opens the current Player's play queue, showing the songs currently queued to play. For more information regarding the play queue, refer to our Help Center article.
Cover Art
This displays the cover art of the currently playing album. If you have issues with the artwork, refer to our Help Center article.
Music Service Indicator
This logo displays the Music Service of the currently playing track. For more information on Music Services, refer to our Help Center article.
Playback Quality Indicator
This logo indicates the current track's quality. For more information, refer to our Help Center Article.
Note: Tap the Playback Quality Indicator to check the actual bitrate.
Dolby Indicator
This logo indicates Dolby Content is played. For information on Bluesound devices supporting Dolby content, refer to our Help Center article.
Manage Players
The Player icon of the currently selected Player or Group is displayed. Select the icon to open the Players tab to control and manage the Players. For more information on the Players tab, refer to our Help Center article.
Context Menu
The Now Playing Screen's context menu gives you options depending on the content played.
For example, when streaming from TuneIn radio, you may have options to select various qualities of streams. While streaming from a service such as Tidal or Deezer, this menu allows you to navigate to that specific service's album or artist page for the currently playing track.
Source Indicator
This indicates the current track's selected source when playing from the connected input device. To change the input source or select a Music Service, refer to our Help Center article.
Shuffle
When the shuffle button is selected, the current play queue is rearranged into a random order. De-selecting this option will revert the play queue to its previous unshuffled order.
Repeat
This toggles between Repeat All, Repeat Track, and Repeat Off.
- Repeat All – repeats the entire play queue once playback is complete.
- Repeat Track – indicated by a small 1 in the top-right corner of the icon and repeats the currently playing song/track once complete.
- Repeat Off – Playback stops at the end of the play queue.
Volume Controls
You can use the plus and minus buttons to control the current volume output of the Player. By using these buttons instead of the volume slider, you can adjust the volume in increments of 2% of the total volume output.
