Configure your preferred Playlist/Music Service/RadioStation as an Alarm Clock to kickstart your mornings with a complete HiFi experience. Alternatively, you can utilize the Sleep Timer to conclude your day on a delightful note. If mornings aren't your thing, you can schedule music streams to commence playback as soon as you enter the door or at the perfect moment to surprise someone special with a personalized playlist.
Additionally, they can switch the playlist to a radio station for continuous news updates or a weekly radio countdown at a specified time.
Set Alarms
To configure Alarms, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Set Alarms
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Players tab
and choose the required Player to configure the alarm.
- Tap the Home tab
> Settings button
.
- Tap the Alarms option. The Alarms screen is launched.
- Tap the New Alarm button
in the upper-right corner to launch the New Alarm window.
- Configure the required Alarm Settings and tap Save.
Disable Alarm - Toggle to disable the required Alarm from the Alarms screen.
Delete Alarm - To delete an Alarm, select the required Alarm from the Alarms screen and select Delete.
Windows/macOS - Set Alarms
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the required player to configure Alarms from the Player Drawer.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Settings > Alarms. The Alarms screen is launched.
- Select the Add Alarm option to launch the Add Alarm screen.
- Configure the required Alarm Settings and select Save Alarm.
Disable Alarm - Toggle to disable the required Alarm from the Alarms screen.
Delete Alarm - To delete an Alarm, select the required Alarm from the Alarms screen and select Delete Alarm.
Add/New Alarm and Edit Alarm
Time
Choose the Time setting to specify the start time for the Alarm.
Alarm Sound
Choose from the saved Playlists, Radio Stations, or configured Music Service streams. You can also select the Current Play Queue or Station option.
Repeat
Pick the specific days of the week or all days of the week on which you would like the Alarm to be active.
Duration
Select the duration for playing the Alarm sound:

- 15 minutes,
- 30 minutes,
- 45 minutes,
- 1 hour,
- 1 hour 30 minutes,
- 2 hours, or
- No Timeout/Indefinite - Select to turn off the alarm manually.
Volume
Specify the Alarm's volume level exclusive for this particular alarm. If BluOS Player is at a different volume when the Alarm activates, BluOS will switch to the Alarm Volume setting, play the Alarm, and once the Alarm's Duration is up, the Player will retain the Alarm Volume setting.
Fade In
When enabled, the Players' volume gradually transitions to the Alarm Volume setting.
Notes
- The BluOS Controller App does not display a countdown for the Alarm Duration when the alarm is activated. However, a notification appears when the alarm is stopped.
- BluOS Alarms do not have a Snooze function.
- Selecting the Pause button deactivates the alarm and disables the Alarm Duration. If the Play button is pressed again during the duration of the Alarm, the Player will playback until paused again.
- BluOS Alarms are configured on the Primary Player within a Group. If you want an alarm to play simultaneously on multiple Players, create a Group using the Player where the Alarm is set as the Primary Player.
- Alarms are not replicated to multiple Players.
