Check Network Connection
To confirm if the BluOS player is connected to the network using a wireless or ethernet connection, perform the following steps:
Android/iOS - Check Network Connection
- Launch the BluOS Controller app, navigate to the Players tab , and select the required BluOS Player.
- Tap the Home tab > Settings button .
- Under the Help & Support section, tap Diagnostics.
Windows/macOS - Check Network Connection
- In the BluOS Controller App, select the Player Drawer and select the required Player.
- Under the left Navigation Drawer, select Help > Diagnostics.
Wireless connections
The color-coded Signal Strength indicator, Network name, and dBm reading are displayed along with the IP Address of the network.
Ethernet connections
Only the IP Address of the network is displayed.
Notes:
- When an Ethernet connection is available, the player connects to the network using the wired connection by default.
- BluOS players cannot connect using both wired and wireless connections simultaneously.
