When listening to TIDAL or other Music Services, the music stops, and the BluOS Controller app displays:
Remote service error: No such device or address TIDAL:nnnnnn
Error remote service: Requested sound quality is not allowed in the user's subscription
These errors are caused by a mismatch of login credentials between the BluOS Controller app and the Music Service and can occur in cases such as a password has changed, a subscription expired, or for other reasons.
Remote Service Error
Pre-requisite: Two or more BluOS Players should be connected to the same network.
Android/iOS - Solve Remote Service Error
- In the BluOS Controller app, select the Music tab .
- Under the Music Services section, tap Manage.
- Select the required Music Service with the remote service error and log out.
- Navigate to the Home tab and select the Settings button .
- Under the Help & Support section, tap Diagnostics > Reboot.
The BluOS Player reboots. - When the Player restarts, select the Music tab .
- Under the Music Services section, tap Manage.
- Select the required music service and enter the credentials to log back into the music service.
Windows/macOS - Solve Remote Service Error
- Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select Music Services.
- Select the required Music Service with the remote service error and log out.
- From the left Navigation Drawer, select Help > Diagnostics > Reboot.

- Select the required music service and enter the credentials to log back into the music service.

If problems persist after that, send us the Diagnostic log:
Android/iOS - Send Diagnostic Log
Launch the BluOS Controller app, select the Home tab > Settings button > Send Support Request.
Windows/macOS - Send Diagnostic Log
Launch the BluOS Controller app; under the left Navigation Drawer, select Help > Send Support Request.
Note: The Support Request automatically includes the player's diagnostic log, and the BluOS Support Crew will review the diagnostic log file and contact you.
