All BluOS Players are compatible with Spotify Connect.
To use Spotify Connect on BluOS, ensure the following:
- The BluOS Player and Spotify app installed device are on the same WiFi network
- The Spotify app is up-to-date
- The BluOS Player firmware is up-to-date
Try disabling Show local devices only. This lets the Spotify app find nearby BluOS players, not on the WiFi network.
- On the Spotify app, tap Home > Settings .
- Under Devices, disable Show local devices only.
If you still cannot find the BluOS Players listed on Spotify Connect, try the following:
- Launch the BluOS Controller App and check if you can stream music from other Music Services to the BluOS Player without issue.
- Special characters (&,#,*,etc.) on the BluOS Player name create issues in Spotify's System. Try renaming the BluOS Player without the special character. For more information, refer to our Help Center article.
- Some Web and Internet security software obstruct Spotify Connect communication. Add exception to this communication in the firewall or third-party internet security software.

Router ports – 3813, 443, 80, 8080, 3689, 554, 5297, 5298, 5353 UDP multicast.
The last three ports identify the products over the WiFi network and are used by Bonjour protocol. Enable multicasting on the router for the device to communicate. For detailed information on the procedure, refer to the router's manual. Reboot the router after applying any configuration changes.
