In certain instances, network-connected Players may lose their network settings if disconnected from the power source and then reconnected. This requires re-adding the Player to the BluOS Controller app.
You will observe this situation if the Player's Status Indicator LED becomes a steady Green after a power cycle. This indicates that the Player has lost its network credentials and reverted to Hotspot Mode, requiring the need for setup once more.
Note: Solid Purple LED indicates the Hotspot mode has timed out (after 15 minutes). Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for 5 seconds to re-enable Hotspot Mode.
This issue is caused by an internal storage error where customization is written to the Player.
You can resolve this error by performing a Factory Reset of the Player.
After you perform the factory reset of the Player, reconnect the BluOS Player to the network.
